Wonder Women of Brass

The Lone Star Wind Orchestra welcomes an all-female guest artist lineup for a concert titled “Wonder Women of Brass.” The guest artist roster includes Raquel Samayoa, trumpet; Stacie Mickens, horn; Natalie Mannix, trombone; and Melissa Ewing, euphonium. The featured guest artist for the afternoon concert is tuba soloist Velvet Brown giving the world premiere of a new tuba concerto by Ukrainian composer Anna Segal titled "Pandora." Music Director Eugene Migliaro Corporon and the LSWO performs music by Dorothy Gates, Pablo de Sarasate, James David, and Oscar Navarro.
